The children worked in pairs today and wrote about why it is important to use the pedestrian crossing. Below is Mahek and Sylias's story and the rest of the class reading their stories:

A pedestrian crossing is a very safe place to cross the road. You have to wait for all the traffic to stop, remember it is still a road. Always stop, look and listen and then walk smartly across the road. Look for cars as you cross. Never run and always obey the rules.

We made this Photostory in class today using the photos we took when Constable Painter visited us on Tuesday. She talked about the importance of using a booster seat and wearing a seatbelt.

On Tuesday this week Constable Painter came and taught us how to be safe in a carpark. We made this photo story using some of the photos that we took.
